B*BOSS

b*boss was formed in 2002. A Universal Collective of no fixed address consisting of keyboardist and guitarist Benny Vee and Multi-Instrumentalist and DJ, Jimmy Dermer. The band has just announced its new EP, "Take 2," set for release on June 1, 2018. The first single will follow on June 10th. “If You Leave Me” is a haunting piano ballad featuring Michelle Willis (Snarky Puppy and David Crosby). The video, a cinematic journey from cradle to grave, will also premiere on the same date.

b*boss gained recognition when their song ‘Remembered’ was featured in the movie, ‘Set Up,’ starring 50 Cent. That triggered a series of film and television placements, including ‘Stronger’ starring Jake Gyllenhaal, ABC’s ‘Rookie Blue’, and the British soap opera, ‘The EastEnders’, among others. Although the band plays live on occasion, b*boss is most at home in the studio. Take 2 was self produced by Benny Vee, except for Japanese World, which was co-produced with Rich Kidd. Musicians featured on the Ep, include Marcus Williams, Adriano Armani, and Chad Wackerman (Drummer, Frank Zappa and Allan Holdsworth).
